So many products are pushed to us, promising all types of help, but most do not live up to their promises. How could something as simple as a knee pillow help my back pain? We are told to use a standing desk, and inversion table, special pillows for our car, but most people are disappointed. However, we must remember that no matter what other things we do for our back pain, be it exercise, yoga, physical therapy etc., we must remember that we spend 7-9 hours in bed. That means that our sleep posture, making sure our spine is properly aligned, is so important, that no matter what else we do, sleeping "wrong" can undo any benefits we achieved from working out or treatments. I can not stress enough, that if you sleep on your side, you must put a knee pillow between your knees to align your hips Make sure that it is one that is comfortable, and stays in place all night. I suffered for years with back pain, and can not believe what a difference using a knee pillow has made.
